This contribution aims to offer new insights into the context of manuscript Paris, Bibliothèque nationale de France, fr. 1822. Keith Busby has recently ascribed this miscellany Old French moral texts (sole witness Jofroi Waterford’s translations) Irish city Waterford. The paper discusses hypothesis, focusing on codicological and historical aspects manuscripts. Moreover, article presents my research (probably Anglo-Norman) redaction Livre Moralitez transmitted by codex.
